Tentacles and Siren

Hello everyone! I have jumped back into my Fisherman team for Guild Ball. I have recently acquired the new mascot, Tentacles, and I decided to get him painted up as well as finish Siren. I apologize if descriptions are short and paint names are missing but I am a bit tired and need to hurry and finish this while it is fresh.

Siren I was just happy to get out of the way. I found she is the one Guild Ball model I do not like. Her detail feels a bit muted. But she is done. Moving on...

Now for the happy squid! (I know, he is an octopus) 

I started with a white primer and washed the model in blue.

I base-coated with a light blue, GW's Temple Guard Blue. I used a pink on the gills and under the tentacles. 

I washed the blue again, but I treated it more as a glaze. I started with an orange on the eyes and started to try little circles, mimicking the rings from certain real octopi. I highlighted the net twice with off-whites.

I continued to highlight the rings, but as I started to imagine the entire model covered, I realized it would take away from the rest of the model so I redid the tentacles. After adding two layers of intermediate orange and yellows, I used a single black line on the eyes.

I highlighted with a sea-green and mixed up a much lighter pink highlight for the gills and suckers. I did some simple greys, brown wash, green highlights on the base. Here is the finished result:
