Circle Wild Argus

I jumped into MK3 Warmahordes with the new Circle of Orboros starter set.

I decided to start with the model I was least enthused about as I was going to attempt a few new techniques. I have started priming in white and I am very much liking the results. Using my newly acquired reaper paint set, I used Muddy, Earth, Leather, and Tanned Leather browns to create the brown shading, using a GW Agrax Earthshade wash early on to create some initial contrast. Reaper Amber Gold is the highlights.
I used Pine, Leaf, and Pale greens to do the armor, using Solid White to highlight the topmost shade. The Fur is the same but ending in Golden Blond Highlights.

I attempted Non-metallics for the first time. I used Rusty Red, Burning Orange, Mustard Yellow, Golden Yellow, and Pale Saffron in layers and combinations to create the gold effect and using the Solid White as the finish highlight to give the shine.

The base insert was a mix of greys and browns and using some greens on the leaves. The eyes are just white (I liked the artwork) and the teeth are Amber Gold, Agarax Earthshade wash, then Golden Blond and Solid White highlights. The rim is Pine Green, then alternating Pale Green, Weathered Stone, and Pale Saffron using a frayed brush at an angle and a GW Thraka Green wash. I used Pale Green, Pale Saffron, and Weathered Stone to mark the points on the base.

I hope you guys like the model! This was a step out of my comfort zone using an entirely different paint, color palate, and new techniques, Next I will be tackling the Warpwolf Pureblood! Please add any comments, criticisms, and/or ideas in the comments section!
